Helen smiled at Will, rather amazed that this might actually be happening. She knew that things had been changing between them for quite a while now, that he had become far more than the "protegee" that everyone believed him to be. But she had never really considered this might happen, for so many reasons.

She was quite glad it was, though.

"So..." she asked, sliding her hand down to take his. "Where should we go for dinner? Any place in particular you'd like?"

"Choices, choices." He winked playfully, smiling. "Just a few doors down."

Laughing, Helen pulled back and squeezed his hand before looking down toward the restaurant they were heading to.

"Looks quite cozy," she said as they walked over to the door and stepped inside. "I didn't even know this was here. Suppose I just never really paid attention to the eating establishments nearby."

"I've come here a few times. Food is good." He smiled, and winked. "Safer then us standing there and kissing, who knows if we'd try and start undressing each other." He smiled playfully, letting her walk in as he held the door.

Helen raised her eyebrow at him in amusement. "I do believe you're right. Best we maintain a bit of decorum."

Giving him a smile, she then looked over at the hostess who approached them and asked if they wanted a table for two. Soon, they were led to one by the window.

"Anything you suggest?" she asked as they sat down.

"The chicken is really good." He smiled holding her chair out for her, before he sat down. "The garlic herb is the best."

"That sounds wonderful then. And thank you, Will."

She gave him a smile for being such a gentleman before picking up her menu.

"I can't remember the last time I didn't work through dinner. At least...not recently."

"I'll just have to drag you off to eat more often." He winked over at her.

"I think you might have to," she told him with a laugh. Looks up at the waitress. "You said the garlic herb chicken?"

She smiled at him before ordering the chicken and a glass of wine.

"Yes I did." He ordered the same, handing the menu over. He looked over at Helen. "I'll try to get your attention long enough to drag you off."

"That shouldn't be a problem. You always were good at getting my attention." Reaching over, she rested her hand on his. "Like running out in front of my car."

"Well I hope to do it less, painfully." He took her hand in his, giving it a gentle squeeze.

"So do I. I would prefer not to run you down again. Ever," she told him with a laugh. "I want you in my life as long as I can keep you, and I want that to be a very long time."

"It will be, you know until I'm old and gray. Walking around with a cane." He chuckled softly.

She looked at him for a few moments, wanting to lean over the table and kiss him - not exactly something she did in public.

"Would it be incredibly cheeky of me to ask if this restaurant does take away?"

"No it wouldn't, and yes they do." He smiled gently, watching her.

"Good...because I think we should ask them to pack up our food and we should take it back to the Sanctuary with us," she told him. "We could eat in my room."

He smiled and waved the waiter over and told them to make it to go, glancing at her. "I'd like that Helen."

Smiling back, she squeezed his hand, glad he agreed. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy this, being out with him, but a part of her really wanted to have him to herself at the moment, something that was rather difficult when they were in a restaurant in Old City when people passing by the window.

"Then let's go," she said when the waitress came back with the bag holding their food.

He stood taking the bag, lacing his fingers with hers. He enjoyed how their hands laced together. He didn't mind being off alone with her, sure they had been several times, but this was completely different. "Alright, ready to go?"

"Most definitely," she said, standing up and heading out with him once they had paid for their food.

When they got back to the Sanctuary, she led him upstairs to her bedroom. It had been a long time since she'd had someone in her room that hadn't been Ashley.

"Here we are," she said, opening the door to reveal a sitting area and a sleeping area.

Will followed her, stepping into her room taking a moment to glance around. He set the bag of food down carefully, before turning to her with a smile. "Nice room."

She nodded at him and looked around her room. "I suppose you could say that you could say that this is my sanctuary of sorts. I don't relax often, but this is the place that I do it when I do."

Taking his hand, she drew him closer. "I've been wanting to do this since this restaurant..."

With a smile, she leaned up and kissed him deeply.

He smiled when she took his hand, moving closer to her. "What's tha--" He was surprised then by the kiss, relaxing returning it just as deeply. His free hand moved and rested on her cheek.

Helen shuddered a bit at the feel of him pressing against her, kissing him until she finally had to pull back to breathe. "I could very much get addicted to kissing you." She laughed softly and tugged him over to the couch. "Actually, I think I already am. It's been far too long, and...you mean so much to me, Will."

Will enjoyed feeling Helen's body against his, it sent delighted shivers through his body. "I think I'm addicted to kissing you as well." He followed her to the couch sitting with her. He leaned forward kissing her again.
